AgileBA® Foundation

About the training

AgileBA (Agile Business Analyst) is a collection of good practices related to business analysis in organizations which have adopted an agile approach to project management. AgileBA is based on the process, roles and products derived from The DSDM Agile Project Framework (DSDM – Dynamic Systems Development Method). AgileBA is an approach that gives tips for conducting efficiently business analysis throughout the project’s life cycle. This approach clearly highlights the role of the Business Analyst, his responsibilities and relations with project stakeholders.

Training purpose

• Gathering knowledge about the daily work of a business analyst in accordance with AgileBA®.
• Gaining knowledge that can easily be applied to various projects.
• Becoming acquainted with tools used in the daily work of a business analyst.
• Understanding a comprehensive set of techniques and practices related to effective business analysis and agile environment.
• Helping in playing an important role in an organization which is transforming from a traditional to an agile work style.
• PDU number: 21.

Duration

• Training at the Foundation level takes 2 days and includes classes in the form of lectures and practical exercises.
• On the second day of the training, after the theoretical part, a certification exam takes place.

Exam and certification

AgileBA® Foundation exam:

• a multi-choice test consisting of 50 questions,
• 50%, i.e. at least 25 points, is required to pass the exam,
• the exam takes 40 minutes,
• the exam takes place in Polish or English.

The participant who has obtained the number of points necessary to pass the exam, receives the international certificate in electronic form. In addition, the participant has the possibility of purchasing a paper certificate by selecting the appropriate option when booking the training.

The AgileBA® Foundation certificate is valid indefinitely.

Persons who have obtained the AgileBA certificate after May 1, 2017 have the opportunity to take advantage of the free annual membership in the Agile Business Consortium.
